Our Story
Born in the Wild, Shaped by Experience
Bush Wander was founded by a Ugandan safari professional whose life has been shaped by the landscapes, wildlife, and communities of East Africa. Years spent guiding across Uganda and Rwanda taught him that the most meaningful journeys are rarely defined by the number of places visited. They are created through genuine encounters, thoughtful pacing, and the people you meet along the way. Today, we design privately guided journeys that reflect each traveller's interests, combining authentic local expertise with meticulous planning and a lasting commitment to conservation.
Bespoke Journeys, Timeless Impact
We believe travel should leave a lasting impression on the traveller while leaving a positive impact on the destination. Every journey begins with listening. Understanding your interests, pace, and aspirations allows us to create an experience that feels personal rather than predetermined.
Our role extends far beyond planning logistics. We curate experiences that foster meaningful encounters with wildlife, culture, and nature while supporting the conservation of the landscapes that make these journeys possible.
Luxury, for us, is measured not by excess, but by authenticity, exclusivity, and the freedom to travel with confidence.
