Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your luxury lakeside hotel. Relax and enjoy the views of Lake Victoria as you prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing tea plantations and scenic views, to reach Kibale National Park. Check-in at the luxurious Primate Lodge, set in the heart of the forest. Spend the evening unwinding and soaking in the lodge’s serene atmosphere.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing and thereafter, the search for the amazing chimpanzees begins. As you track the chimpanzees, you will have an opportunity to see other wildlife species, such as the rare L’Hoest’s monkey, the Guereza Colobus, the Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, the Olive baboon, among others. You will observe them as they feed, play, and socialize with each other. The tracking takes about 2-5 hours. Watch these intelligent primates in their natural habitat, an experience that will leave you awestruck. After lunch, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving at the luxurious Kyambura Gorge Lodge, with its panoramic views of the Rift Valley..

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Early in the morning enjoy your sunrise breakfast and head out on a thrilling game drive through Northern Plains of the park, where you'll look out for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards. The early hours provide the best chance to witness the fauna in action.

In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a range of bird species. The cruise offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and stunning views of the park’s landscape.

Day 5: Transfer to Ishasha – Tree-Climbing Lions

Depart for the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of these lions as they rest on the branches of fig trees. End the day at Ishasha Wilderness Camp, a luxurious retreat in the wild

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Arrive at the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, an exclusive luxury camp nestled in the heart of the rainforest.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking & Relaxation

This is the day you’ve been waiting for – a chance to stand in the presence of one of the planet’s most endangered and majestic creatures: the Mountain Gorilla. The day begins early with an energizing breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing from expert rangers. Then, it’s time to trek into the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi. Every step of the journey feels like an exploration into an ancient, untouched world, with towering trees, colorful bird species, and the occasional rustle of wildlife in the underbrush. After hours of anticipation, your patience pays off as you encounter a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Watch in awe as they play, groom, and move through the forest, their sheer presence leaving you breathless. The magic of locking eyes with a silverback is a moment that words can hardly capture.

After this once in a life-time experience, return to your lodge for an afternoon relaxation or a community visit to one of the community projects around the park.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Bid farewell to Bwindi and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse birdlife and mammals like zebras, giraffes, and impalas. Arrive at Mihingo Lodge, a luxurious lodge with stunning views of the park and a tranquil atmosphere.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe Airport

Start your final morning with a scrumptious breakfast before you head out for a guided bush walk, getting up close to wildlife like giraffes, zebras, elands, and impalas. After breakfast, return to Entebbe for your international flight, reflecting on the unforgettable memories made during this safari.
