BEST TIME TO VISIT

Lake Mburo National Park is easily accessible from Kampala, just a 4-5 hour drive along the Masaka Road. It’s a short drive from Mbarara (about 30 kilometres), and most visitors opt to drive or hire a private vehicle or tour operator for the journey.


Alternatively, the park is accessible via charter flights from Entebbe International Airport to Mbarara, followed by a short transfer to the park.
