Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi via Kihihi
Your adventure begins with a scenic morning flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip, cutting down travel time and offering stunning aerial views of Uganda’s lush landscapes. Upon landing, a guide will transfer you to Gorilla Forest Lodge by Sanctuary Retreats, a luxury lodge tucked right inside Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Spend the afternoon relaxing with forest views or enjoying the lodge’s warm hospitality.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Pangolin Rescue Center Visit
This is the day you’ve been waiting for – a chance to stand in the presence of one of the planet’s most endangered and majestic creatures: the Mountain Gorilla. The day begins early with an energizing breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing from expert rangers. Then, it’s time to trek into the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi. Every step of the journey feels like an exploration into an ancient, untouched world, with towering trees, colorful bird species, and the occasional rustle of wildlife in the underbrush. After hours of anticipation, your patience pays off as you encounter a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Watch in awe as they play, groom, and move through the forest, their sheer presence leaving you breathless. The magic of locking eyes with a silverback is a moment that words can hardly capture.
In the afternoon, visit the Pangolin Rescue Center to learn about conservation efforts for one of the world’s most trafficked yet rarely seen animals.

Day 9: Fly back to Entebbe Airport
Your safari may be coming to an end, but the memories you’ve made will last a lifetime. After breakfast, your private guide will drive you back to Kihihi Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Optional lunch upon arrival can be arranged, depending on your flight schedule. As you roll into Entebbe by late afternoon, you’ll carry with you not just photos, but the bragging rights of having conquered one of the most sought-after wildlife adventures in the world.
