BEST TIME TO VISIT UGANDA

Uganda is a year-round destination, but for the best experience, we recommend visiting during the dry seasons from December to February and June to September. These months are ideal for gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, and other outdoor activities, as the weather is drier, making the terrain easier to navigate. The green seasons (March to May and October to November) are quieter and offer lush, beautiful landscapes perfect for photography and bird watching

GETTING AROUND UGANDA

Your journey in Uganda is our priority, and our experienced drivers and expert local guides ensure your travels are smooth and enjoyable. Whether by 4x4 for a road safari, a private boat cruise, or even a light aircraft to remote destinations, Bush Wander takes care of every detail to ensure you travel in comfort and style.

TRAVEL TIP

Visas:

Most travellers will need a visa to enter Uganda. You can easily apply for an East African visa online or on arrival.

Health: We recommend malaria prophylaxis, along with vaccinations for yellow fever and other recommended inoculations.

Currency:

The local currency is the Ugandan Shilling (UGX), but US dollars are widely accepted in many areas.
