Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where our private guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Take the evening to relax and prepare for the thrilling safari ahead.

Day 2: Rhino Trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Begin your journey with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Accompanied by expert rangers, you’ll trek through the bush on foot to track and observe the endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat. Learn about rhino conservation efforts in Uganda as you experience the excitement of being close to these gentle giants.

Day 3: Murchison Falls Hike & Afternoon Game Drive

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park and start the day with a thrilling hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River surges through a narrow gorge, creating a stunning waterfall. Afterward, enjoy lunch and head out for an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes roaming the savannah.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Begin with an early morning game drive in the park’s northern sector, offering great chances to see leopards, hyenas, Ugandan kobs, and large herds of buffaloes and giraffes. In the afternoon, take a scenic Nile River boat cruise. Along the way, you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork. The cruise ends with a dramatic view of Murchison Falls from the base.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest

Drive through scenic countryside to Kibale National Park, known for its rich primate population. You’ll arrive in time to relax at your lodge, surrounded by the lush beauty of the tropical forest.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

Start your day early with a briefing at Kibale Forest headquarters before venturing into the forest to track chimpanzees. Follow Uganda Wildlife Authority expert guides as they lead you through the dense jungle of Kibale, pointing out various primates and birds. Spend an hour observing the chimps’ fascinating behaviors and interactions.

Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you’ll encounter unique flora, bird species, and cultural stories from the local community.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP & Afternoon Boat Cruise

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This channel is known for its large population of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife, making it a highlight for wildlife lovers.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive & Sunset Game Drive in Kasenyi Plains

Explore the Kasenyi Plains on an early morning game drive. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, buffaloes, elephants, and antelope species such as Ugandan kobs. In the evening, set out on a sunset game drive, offering excellent opportunities to witness more wildlife as the day fades.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha Sector

Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping en route in the Ishasha Sector to search for the famed tree-climbing lions. Bwindi is home to half the world’s endangered mountain gorillas population.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

This is the day you’ve been waiting for – a chance to stand in the presence of one of the planet’s most endangered and majestic creatures: the Mountain Gorilla. The day begins early with an energizing breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing from expert rangers. Then, it’s time to trek into the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi. Every step of the journey feels like an exploration into an ancient, untouched world, with towering trees, colorful bird species, and the occasional rustle of wildlife in the underbrush. After hours of anticipation, your patience pays off as you encounter a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Watch in awe as they play, groom, and move through the forest, their sheer presence leaving you breathless. The magic of locking eyes with a silverback is a moment that words can hardly capture.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Evening Game Drive

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, one of Uganda’s smallest but most beautiful parks, famous for its zebras, impalas, and eland antelopes. In the evening, embark on a game drive to spot the park’s wildlife and enjoy the serene landscapes.

Day 13: Morning Walking Safari and Afternoon Relaxation

Wake up to the sounds of nature and set off on an early walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. This unique experience allows you to explore the park on foot with an experienced ranger, offering a chance to spot zebras, giraffes, elands, and other wildlife up close, while learning about animal tracks, birdlife, and the ecosystem of this beautiful savannah.

After your walk, return to the stunning Mihingo Lodge, perched on a rocky outcrop with sweeping views of the valley. Spend the afternoon at leisure—take a dip in the infinity pool, enjoy a massage overlooking the bush, or simply unwind with a drink as you watch wildlife visit the waterhole below.

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Kigali, Rwanda’s charming capital city. After a warm welcome, enjoy a scenic drive to Kisoro, Uganda, crossing through rolling hills and lush countryside. Arrive at your lodge in Kisoro in the evening and settle in for a relaxing night.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking & Relaxation

In the morning, embark on an unforgettable adventure in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey Tracking. Led by an experienced guide, you’ll trek through the lush bamboo forests in search of the playful Golden Monkeys, a rare and captivating species that thrives in this unique environment. Day 6: Sunrise Safari & Afternoon Boat Safari

Early in the morning enjoy your sunrise breakfast and head out on a thrilling game drive through Northern Plains of the park, where you’ll look out for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards. The early hours provide the best chance to witness the fauna in action.

In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a range of bird species. The cruise offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and stunning views of the park’s landscape.

Day 7: Forest Walk – Kyambura & Transfer to Kibale NP

Early in the morning, enjoy a guided nature walk in Kyambura Gorge, where you’ll explore its lush, forested landscape and have the chance to spot primates like the Eastern Guereza Monkeys, Chimpanzees, along with various bird species and other wildlife. The cool, shaded environment offers a unique contrast to the surrounding savannah. After the walk, return to the lodge for a hot lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll transfer to Kibale Forest, known for its rich biodiversity and primate population. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax, taking in the serene forest surroundings in preparation for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe Airport

After breakfast, embark on a long drive back to Entebbe (6–8 hours). En route, stop for lunch and enjoy the changing scenery. Arrive in the evening to check in for your connecting flight or an overnight stay in Entebbe, marking the end of your Ugandan adventure.
